Seaside Garden
This garden has very impressive views at the top of a 45° sloping bank. We designed and installed gabions with sea cobbles to create level areas and to retain the soil.
A large deck at the top with a glass and stainless steel balustrade provides a key seating area. Access to the deck is via timber stairs and boardwalks with handrails.
A range of plants that tolerate the seaside conditions and stabilise the steep banks were used, providing a contemporary feel. Solar lighting to the paths and steps provides safe access to the garden when its dark.
